Suddenly inspired to do a bit of cloud watching today, while on a 10 mins break in class. XD How nostalgic, it reminded me of all the little things I did when I was back in primary and secondary school.
1. Cloud watching was of course on the list, it triggered memories of the other things. =P
I used to stare at the cloud and watch them change into the most interesting resemblance of things. Favourite spot to do this was the library room back in the childcare center. You can say that even though I was allowed to go home after lunch everytime, it's hard not to be tempted by the small collection of story books and many friends to play with. So much so, that I sometimes stay back up to 3-4-ish, right after lunch. XD
2. Bicycle shed steel walking.
I bet Ching, Teen and Jia Yee can remember this. XDD We used to use the steel thingy in the bicycle shed, the one meant for locking the bicycle chains, as a sort of tight rope walking exercise. Like almost every recess. =P Until teacher banned it. Darnnnn.....I forgot why though. Maybe because other ppl started copying us, but anyway, one fine assembly, it was announced that it's banned. Cehhhhhhh
3. Pole climbing.
Nah, not very high. har har~ The bicycle shed in primary school again. Boy, we love that place. XD Of course, I had on tights when I tried climbing on it lar. I'm not stupid, you see. Bwahaha~
4. On Sailormoon crack.
No seriously. Ching started the craze *glaresssss* by buying the comic first. And got the rest of us, into borrowing it from her everytime a new one comes out. Even up to UPSR, although we were technically banned by borrowing it from her, we still did. muahaha XD
And don't get me started on the Sailormoon stickers. I still have the 3 sticker albums. O.o;; I also blame this partly on the bookshop. Who told them to start selling the stickers in random packs. T^T I wasted a lot of my precious recess money on them. And trading it with the others.
Oh, and the whole naming thing. I want to know who started it? >.> We were 'sorted' enough to go name each and everyone after a sailor senshi. I'm so not telling mine. =P This one is sure nostalgic, because back then, Keegan was part of this. Iunno, who named him Sailormoon of the whole pack though. ROFL~ Plus, for the longest time ever, we thought that Luna was a guy, hence Andrew got the part. LoLness!
5. Batu seremban madness. (add bottle caps here too)
This is a game which kept us kids at the childcare centre so engrossed, we can play it from 2pm to 4-5-ish. Seriously gila we were. I would say, I was a pretty decent player myself. XD Simply because we were amongst the oldest and we stuck together when we're at the centre. XD Let's see.......Pei Ling, Khairil Benjamin, Jasmir (yups, I knew him from back here), Lional and Chong Yang also. I was really close to Pei Ling, miss her lots. =3
Run up and down the small curam behind the canteen. I can't remember for the life of me why we did that. -.- Oh, I think it was our secret spot in school or something.
6. Bean bag DD:
My bean bag actually. Back then, the childcare centre gang love randomly exploring around. Guess whose house was nearest, other than Ben's? Mine. And mine's parentless btw. Iunno, why we decided to stick someone's watch into the bean bag and try to dig it out. Darn you guys, I had to clean up after that you know >.>
7. Badminton playing
With my bro. Way before the house was renovated. Now that it is, there's a chance of errr....breaking the lightbulb. So no more playing. T^T Until recently, I'm joining Mintos's gang. Missed playing lots!
Oh, there was this one time, I think En. Khairul (was it ....?) who taught us BM, back in SK Seafield. He caught me climbing the grill to the roof, to get my shuttlecock when he drove by (or something). >_<;; And asked me the next day in class, what on earth was I climbing for....>.> In class. XDD
To which I answered.....errr...to get my shuttlecock on the roof. Hahaha XD
8. Clean classrooms.
Can't really recall this, but I'm gonna either blame it on Jia Yee or Ching. One of them somehow got the three of us cleaning one teacher's classroom everyday. O.o Weird enough, we actually enjoyed it back then. OMAIGOSH! We're idiots. XD
9. Help clean the house
For extra pocket money that it. I think sweeping the living room for rm1 was something liddat. We were connedddddddd....
10. Drawing.
And I still sux. Horribly. Jia Yee had this interest to make her own storybook, and to which the rest of us would borrow and read through. Like a mini library thing. She got quite a large collection of it btw. Hey, it seemed large to the little me back then. XD I tried and still sux. Blehhhhhhh.
11. Reading.
This has got to be my favourite. Ask any of my friends back then, and they can relate to you, then if I get a good storybook, the chances are I'll be reading it every moment I get. =P Even in class and will almost totally ignore anything else for the day until I'm finished with it. Nyah~!
Storybooks. School textbooks don't count. =P
12. Share food.
Mostly with Ching and Jia Yee. We would take turn to but nasi lemak and split it half half. That would be Ching and me. JY pops in to steal a bit and eat the cucmber. The yolk is mineeeee. mwahaha XD
Oh, and who can forget ice creams at the canteen. The cheapest is only 40 cents. We love it loads. =3
And the random sellers outside the school. Like the one bus which sold candies. O.o;; In the bus, before the afternoon sessions start. The random snacks we love to buy. Mai pocket moneyyyyyyyyyy.........T^T
13. Play dress up and masak-masak.
With my bro on the weekends. Add in my cousin during the hols. XD I still have the collection of soft toys. I'M NEVAAAAAAA THROWING THEM AWAYYYYYYYYY~ The masak2's gone though. XD
14. Burglar alarm.
Kid detection. RawR! Because my bro and I would be alone at home during the day, we came up with weird gadgets for safety precautions. bwahahah XD Hey, we're only around primary 4, 'kay? Totally legitimate reasons to make weapons. >o< With the jangka lukis and scissors and all.
Mum and dad did their best to make sure we remember to switch off all the lights and fans by leaving post-it notes. And color coding the keys. Making sure we call everytime we're home, and checking every once a while. Asked auntie to escort us home after lunch, or to the centre for lunch.
15. Pets
To be fair, I don't think we could have gotten our very first pets if we weren't alone at home. Auntie Mami, the one who babysitted us (ignore the various weird sitters we had after her, thank goodness she decided to return to help us later on) up to before we went to the centre, gave us our very first tortoises. One each.
Which then lead to fishes for my birthday. Gold fishes. Oh wait, I think it was some mini sword fishies...who decided to randomly commit suicide by jumping out of the fish bowl, ending up dead behind the rack. So then it was gold fishes. Real fat lionheads. So fat, they errr...bloated upside down and dead one by one O.o;;
Hmm...then we had hamsters. Nyaaaaaaa! And made the ultimate mistake by getting two different genders and placing them in the same cage, resulting in babies. I think we had 3 batches of adorable fluffs and 3 cages of hamsters......until none was left.
Next is durrrrrrrr.....Sera the dog. mwahaha XD
16. Creativeness
Kononlar. XD Made weird gadgets out of paper and strings. The leverage things to kononly help us to pass things downstairs, instead of having to walk upstairs.
Disassembling the small swing we had and reuse it for something I can't remember.
Climb the gate to pluck leaves. Oh and that one time, I locked the keys inside the house. =P I r smart.
Make a mini tunnel for lantern festival. Using bolsters and pillows and blankets. No really. We shared the same bed(if pushing 2 single beds and using one King size bedsheet counts), and had lots of pillows to use. XD
And then we would crawl underneath using the battery lighted lanterns.
17. Other random things
Talk crap for hours until mum or dad pops into the room and tells us to shut up and go to sleep. =P
Push my bro back to his side of the bed when he squashes over to my side. *puuushhhes*
Badger Yeh Yeh to drop us at 7-11 to get slurpies after our swimming lessons. During the hols, my bro, cousin and I. ^^;
Take turns with my bro, sliding down the staircase.
OHMYGOSH!
I think I was a crazee gila kid. DDD:
