First off, clover green really did bring me luck, that and sacrificing the weekend holiday trip with the group to Kuantan brought about 4 back to back interviews. So since last Thursday, Friday, (spent the weekend being stranded at the workshop for Global Strategy and Leadership), Monday, Tuesday and a second interview on Wednesday.
Was a rather busy week for me after all that inactivity I had going on for a while.
Now to wait up for any calls and job offers on the line. The thing is, I'm really aiming to secure a job which will provide me an environment to learn, because I'm still young and any career change in the future will heavily depend on the type of skills you have to offer.
There's 1 that's offering me a much lower than expected salary, 2 without potential for future growth and rather stagnant and repetitive work.
Worried atm, because the only one which offered me so far was the one I'm concerned about the potential growth, it's not exactly the field I was aiming for, granted that I didn't specifically applied for the job but rather gave my resume for their consideration and it works on a shift basis.
Thing is, if the pay is reasonable, I would give it a couple of months to a year, because there isn't going to much improvement from the long term perspective.
But worried because eventually, I will have to start from the bottom if I'm aiming to go purely into accounting as my prior working experiences will be irrelevant for that.
Keeping my fingers crossed that either a better offer to learn up will come my way or perhaps, the pay will offset for my weird working hours and allow me to save up a bit for now.

Clover green for luck ^3^
Change of template for a new breath of life since it's been almost 2 years.
From my lovely personalised orange purple KAT-TUN to a simple clover green.
Wanted something easy on the eyes and it's been said that a four leaved clover brings luck because clovers usually have 3 leaflets. No luck on finding a four leaved clover background though. haha!
I'm not that pro making anything and not aiming to change too many things, so a quick use of google and the new template layout should suffice for now.
Mutton of the day is currently on K-pop, more specifically Super Junior. Playlist has been removed, may or may not be replaced, my fickled mind isn't made up yet.
Mutton of the day. Sungmin, Ryeowook, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun, Yesung, Leeteuk, Siwon, Shindong and Heechul.
Also, my photobucket account lives. 8D

that 5 minutes of difference
Bratty here.
Serena gave up a trip with close friends for the weekend that was planned ages back for a chance to explore a career fair held the same weekend. Sitting around was getting to her and rather demotivating as well.
So it was a nice surprise to have company for the fair in form of a close friend's bro who recently graduated and looking for a job, to tag along.
The fair was interesting, helped gave her some pointers on her resume and expectations of the market and employers' point of view.
So after some 2 hours of browsing, they both decided to call it a day and head home to grab lunch.
The sky was clear and weather was beautiful when she had drove her friend's sibling home, which was about 5 minutes away from her place.
That 5 minutes made all the difference, for the moment she was reaching home, splitter splatter came the rain. And poured it did.
Serena had to park outside, a little distance away since the porch was occupied. Grabbed her umbrella and bags for that short walk to the gate.
Upon reaching, only to realise, she had left her house keys inside the car. WAYLT, dear.
Serena tried calling for mummy dearest to open the gates for her, but it was pouring so badly, that the rain was rather noisy and so mummy dearest didn't hear a thing.
A few minutes of calling and making havoc outside the gates under the rain, clutching am umbrella and juggling 2 bags, she decided to return back to her car to collect that darnit set of keys.
Serena finally made it inside the house and took a breather to report to mummy dearest and to complain how she was all wet and no one heard her.
After about 10 minutes or so talking, she realised that rain had stopped and the sky was all clear and bright again. The short shower had passed just like that.
In her words, 'I feel like I kena pranked'

Tiramisu~!
Bratty reporting that little mistress of mine eventually caved in to her sweet tooth and tried her grubby paws on making a tiramisu~!
Note that the word used is made, not baked, because it requires no baking, just a shove into the refridgerator for a good couple of hours for the cheese to set.
All her cheesy cravings fully satisfied. heeeeee~
Wiki explains Tiramisu as

Quite a costly dessert to make, with that 2 blocks of Philadelphia cream cheese to make up for the lack of mascarpone cheese and that whole stack of lady fingers biscuits. But oh-so-delish!
Family gave it a thumbs up for this round.

Wiki explains Tiramisu as
literally "pick me up", is a popular Italian dessert. It is made of ladyfingers (Italian: savoiardi) dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of egg yolks and mascarpone, and flavored with liquor and cocoa

Drama.
Dear extended family,
Stop being such kids.
It isn't called a family gathering when you deteriorate into becoming kids and not invite your own mother or several other siblings and their families.
You're old enough to know what is right and wrong. Shame on all of you.

To bake or not to bake?
Bratty here. >3<
Serena's been looking up for baking recipes looking at how she's totally drooling over her keyboard and muttering to herself over the instructions and how-to.
Can't you be less obvious? tsktsktsk
Serena is rather excited that her orange and lemon cake turned out awesomely yummy last week back, so she's pumped up to try her hands on making chocolate cake next.
Which btw, I might add, the last time she tried that years back, it was as hard as stone. D: I fear for my little sheepy life now.
It'll be nice for my little mistress to try her hands on baking since she's been bored at home and making something nice to munch on makes everyone at home happy as well.
Will keep the you guys posted on how her baking endeavor goes, if she ever gets around to doing it and not just drooling over her keyboard.

The sheep is back in town!
Serena is back and by default, Bratty gets to make a comeback too. 8D
Because poking fun at her is my favourite pastime.
So, Serena had to bring Sera the dog to the vet for the once every 10 days or so, for an extraction of the liquid that's been accumulating in her stomach being that her liver hasn't been functioning properly for almost 9 months now. *pats the poor thing*
The thing about the liquid extraction, is how much time it takes, usually takes Serena about an hour, plus all that waiting at the vet and slowly extracting the liquid and all.
So, it was very important to get a proper parking and to pay for that proper parking.
Serena went and paid for a parking ticket with the wrong car number! That klutz mistress of mine. D:
Her car number is clearly 8816, so I can't understand why she paid for 8681, which is btw the car number of Serena's dad, who's at work.
Moral of the story, please be alert while punching in the car number. orz.
Serena stared at it, pondered for a moment and hoped that that the officers would close one eye and pass it by.

Refresh and relive
I saw an adorable kitty post and it reminded me of Bratty, my wooly companion blog.
And since I'm at the crossroads of change and soul searching at the moment, might as well make a short post every now and then.
Still looking for a new job, I'm really keen to look for one which I'm interested in and one that would help add to my resume later in life. It's been rather not fruitful lately, but I'll still keep on trying the best I can.
*cues dramatic comeback music and tackleglomphugs with Bratty*
Also, I still love KAT-TUN, even though the A in it has left. orz. But we'll see if my blog will change fandoms.
