Closure of a chapter in life

Dad's last labour of love was to prepare a nice little spot for dear ol' dog.

It's not an easy one, seeing how that spot used to be an old palm tree which we had for years, he dug up the roots, refilled the patch with earth and dug up a nice spot for us to bury Sera's remains which we received from the pet memorial services.

Can't believe it's only been a week ever since but it seemed so much longer.

Still misses all the small routines we have around the house.

Mum jokingly mentioned that she's heard of a lady who buried her dog in the garden and occasionally sit there to chat with her pet.

Printed some photos of her to put up at my workplace, so that I still get to see her everyday at work. <3

Also gave some for the bro for keeps and put some into a nice photo frame for the living room.

And I wonder, I really wonder if I'd be able to someday own another pet dog of my own. There's a lot of hard work involved in taking care of a pet, but I really do wish to be able to do once again.

There's nothing like the unconditional love to come home to everyday and a friend who will always be on your side no matter what happens.
