The house is old. And in need of maintenance.
Haven't made any posts about them yet. >.>
Somewhere in the middle of the year, there was the issue of termites.....<.< Which dad solved by getting the pesticide fellas to drill some holes onto the floor and spray some chemical over them. After the furniture was moved around.
Subsequently, there was a need to replace the wooden door frames with something else....plastic I think. It took another few days and lots of cleaning up...I swear, we had to clean everything everyday. The house must have been sparkling clean for that one week.
Mostly the door frames replaced where those connected to the bathroom, since it's the place it was wet and the wood had....what's the word...rot.
Here comes the best part, my parents decided to change the downstairs bathroom door into those plastic sliding ones. The measurements were a bit off, and it took quite a lot of times to get it done. After all, it is usually the door that fit the frames, not the frames to fit the doors.
I think the workers messed up the assemblement, since the door now opens the other day, but anyway, that's the what I wanted to talk about.
Our existing washing machine and dryer in the bathroom is now wider that the door itself.

Which my dear dad realised after everything was done and paid for. That little piece of info had us all giggling like crazee.
What are we suppose to do, when the time comes for us to replace those machines?
This is a case of worry later, I suppose.
Next was the piping, I'm not too sure but something about our additional water tank and its pipings. Causing the water to leak onto the porch. O.O
It just got fixed yesterday.
But the bathroom now looks....ugly.
According to dad, the internal pipings can't be used anymore, and everything been redirected to an external piping, which is easily seen on the walls of our bathroom now.

Now that I think about it, the house would be about 15 years. Oh wows, okies....now i understand the need for repairs.
