First off, clover green really did bring me luck, that and sacrificing the weekend holiday trip with the group to Kuantan brought about 4 back to back interviews. So since last Thursday, Friday, (spent the weekend being stranded at the workshop for Global Strategy and Leadership), Monday, Tuesday and a second interview on Wednesday.
Was a rather busy week for me after all that inactivity I had going on for a while.
Now to wait up for any calls and job offers on the line. The thing is, I'm really aiming to secure a job which will provide me an environment to learn, because I'm still young and any career change in the future will heavily depend on the type of skills you have to offer.
There's 1 that's offering me a much lower than expected salary, 2 without potential for future growth and rather stagnant and repetitive work.
Worried atm, because the only one which offered me so far was the one I'm concerned about the potential growth, it's not exactly the field I was aiming for, granted that I didn't specifically applied for the job but rather gave my resume for their consideration and it works on a shift basis.
Thing is, if the pay is reasonable, I would give it a couple of months to a year, because there isn't going to much improvement from the long term perspective.
But worried because eventually, I will have to start from the bottom if I'm aiming to go purely into accounting as my prior working experiences will be irrelevant for that.
Keeping my fingers crossed that either a better offer to learn up will come my way or perhaps, the pay will offset for my weird working hours and allow me to save up a bit for now.
