Living in a country, which although it still need much much more improvements, one does not realise how lucky and blessed we are in the eyes of others who are much worse off then us.

Fifty Refugees
Read the tales of 50 refugees who have sought for protection on our lands, the place we call home, Malaysia. Read about their sufferings and hardships that they faced. Read and you will learn that there are people out there who have been overlooked and ignored.
I believe the government needs to wake up to address the needs of these people. In a country where most of us are living a reasonably comfortable lifestyle, it is terrible to learn that there are still people who needs so much help.
They have ran away from their own country, seeking for protection amidst our jungles and shores, why are we turning a blind eye on them?
It's really sad, and heartwrenching to read all 50 stories.
They are humans just like us, yet they only seek for the most basic necessities in life. Should we deny them of it?
I believe not many knows about their plight, so please help spread the word if you can. A little awareness can go a long long way.
