Genting?

Yuppers, so I did go on that one night trip to Genting with my college mates. Actually, when I asked for the list of names of those going, I found myself staring blankly at almost half the names. >.>

But anyway, I figure it wouldn't hurt to meet more people and I was bored, yes plus it's only one night. haha XD As it turned out, they were all my seniors in Metro, all under RMIT. LoL. Metro is a pretty small place and the RMIT program has a smaller batch of students as compared to Curtin, so I may have probably bumped into them at some point, sempai-tachi desu!

And as usual, the slow me took ages to remember their names...and may have even forgot them by now >.<>.>)
4. Yee Seng
5. Chris
6. Charlotte
7. Alex
8. Edwin

All the above are from the OB class. haha XD

9. Ee Peng
10. Kok Yuen
11. Sin Yee
12. Seong
13. Chin Sian
14. Hui Ping
15. Sue Vin
16. Wei Chieh
17. Hui Yin

Ackk.....I hope I didn't miss anyone....because I've been trying to recall their names and faces...>.> It'll be embarassing to forget their names..u__u

Anyway, we went up by cars....4 in fact. We met up in Asia Cafe, Seow Huai who lives nearest to me, in USJ 2, dropped by to tumpang me along. There we waited for some later ones and had lunch. I followed the CRV which Alex was driving along with Seow Huai and Edwin. Reached there almost in time to check in. 2.30-ish? Yea.

I suppose they figured that it was better to put me with someone I know, so I roomed with Seow Huai, whom I knew 2 semesters back, in M'sian Taxation. She was sick btw O_o but still decided to turn up. There was 2 rooms out of the total 8 or 9, which was not yet cleaned, so we waited for ours to be cleaned. And while waiting, we saw Charlotte and Ee Peng. Later I found out that another group of RMIT Metro students has dropped by the day before with them. This group is more of less from my batch, I guess it tells you how errr....not very sociable I am. I do have friends from my batch, but they aren't exactly with this group of batchmates who turned up either, so yea. >.>

Anyway, the earlier batch went home after a day, and spent the night over at the Resort Hotel, while we're at First World. They kinda crammed a few in a room. XD And Ee Peng and Charlotte decided to stay another day and joined this group. *coughadamotivepunyacough*

There wasn't much to do after we checked in, so we agreed to do whatever you want and meet up for dinner later. I was still feeling rather awkward and lost >.> And decided to just walk and walk around. Yee Seng was nice enough to teman me. I mentioned it was okay to walk alone, because it's much more convenient for me. Kinda lost the few person I knew. O_o Some wanted to head off to the casino and some went to get food. Oh and had I mentioned? I was apparently the youngest and the only one underage. wwwooooooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.........

Everyone there was either 21 or above. Except for moi.

So we walked around aimlessly >.> Because he insisted it wasn't nice to invite me along only to leave me alone. Both him and Chris were the organisers...I think? Until it was time to meet up for dinner. haha XD

We went back to the rooms about 6-ish. Seow Huai was back as well. So we laze around and showered. There was no hair dryers...>.> soooooooo....

We had dinner at some Chinese restaurant near the theme park entrance. There was a lot of us, so we split into 2 tables, ironically between the guys and gals. haha XD And since both sides had different tastes, we ordered our own dishes. There was this one dish I enjoyed, fried prawn with honey or something, but very yummy! The total per person turned out RM20. I think the prawns was expensive.

After dinner, it turned out that 6 of the group booked tickets to watch 'The Prestige' at 9pm. So they set off. One of the couples mentioned they had tickets for Death Note at 1.15am.....>.> And some of us wanted to watch it (like me =P), so we tried our luck. No luck though, it was full house. O_o 1AM show.....full? ackkkkkkkk

Can't really remember what happened to the rest, but I followed the group of girls who then went back to the rooms to catch a TV show. LoL. And gossip. I merely caught like bits of pieces to piece them together. *coughcharlottelikeschrishencetheextraonedaystaycough* Yes, I was just keeping quiet and translating whatever I could. =P Don't be surprised, I can be very quiet when I run out of things to say. I can't speak in mandarin anyway. Hui Yin apologised, but I told her it was alright, listening to them is fine with me. After all, they are a pretty close group, so I'm kinda like an outsider. XD

About 11pm, we met the others for a drink at Starbucks. And chatted more. By then I kinda got the hang of remembering the names...I think. GAKKKKKKKKK.....this group are camwhores! I had no idea how long but we tooks loads of photographs. In twos, in threes......and even in terms of subjects which we took in college, since most of us shares a class or 2 with someone. If I could get my hands on the 6 or 7 cameras which made their rounds, I'll post some up. I think we freaked the other tourists.

"That group have got to be nutcases! Just how many photographs do they think they can take in one night. Or of the same spot"

After the whole photographin session, we returned to the rooms where we crammed the whole 16 of us into one room, pushed the beds to one side and proceed to play 'mafia' up to 4am O_O It was a game which needed a large group, so yea. XD Edwin and Hui Yin taught us since they both knew how it went.

4am. Both Seow Huai and I were dead tired. So when we ended, we went straight to bed. Not apparently not everyone. As we found out next morning, a number of them went to the casinos. Resulting in a lot of sleepy heads when we had to wake up around 8am for the buffet breakfast.

Not everyone had a good night's rest. I did. =P Didn't wake up all the way up to 7am. But Seow Huai didn't, something about the noisy water tank above the sink and noises. >.< Yee Seng walked the corridors. Chris couldn't sleep, because he was alone in the foom. haha XD

Ended up, almost everyone returned to bed after breakfast. I managed to bug Hui Ping since she wasn't in mood the sleep aither, so both of us walked and walked. Shopped a bit too. XD We just took our time and went through the culture shops exhibition. The prices of some things doubled but some remained the same as what you could get back down in KL. Yuppers.

Around 12pm, the check out time, we went back to the rooms. It's was interesting to note that the girls were all packed and ready to go, but not the guys. ohoho! You can't say that girls are the slow ones, can't you now? I kid you now.

By the time everyone finished, it was cloe to 1pm. Alex, whose car I took had other things and so decided to return early. Seow Huai wasn't feeling that well either. So both Edwin and I went along. There was an axtra 2 ppl, remember? They had no transport to go back down, so we had to accommodate them. Hence if I don't go back with Alex, I might end up transportless. And we crammed Kok Yuen along.

Yups. >.< There really wasn't much to do in one night. Theme park? I don't mind going if part of the group wants to, but err....apparently some had fear of heights and so forth. All in all, I did enjoy it.

And it rained on the way back. haiiiiiiii......

I calculated the amount I spent. It's about RM100, not bad, huh? The room and free breakfast only came up to RM20. Because it's not a peak period and a weekday to boot. Btw, I saw a lot of old folks there too. XD

On a side note, I still wanna watch Death Note...but but, my gang seems busy with exams and assignments..........u___u By the time, they're free, my summer course would have started. >.>

PS - Darn blogspot just cut off half my post O_O I have to retype.....>.> akhdfkj
